Honorable Scolaro Ballou:

I am the stepfather of the victim in the case of State vs. Warren-Flavell R F. I write this letter
asking the court to consider the character and past actions of the defendant, Roselou Warren-Flavell, when considering any plea agreement.

This case is regarding a violent attack against a thirteen-year-old child by the defendant, the
child’s former stepmother. The incident has left a lasting psychological impact on the victim. It was an act of brutality, unprovoked and unwarranted. The defended has made posts on social media justifying her actions and showing no remorse or regret.

Sadly, the incident leading to the defendant’s arrest was but one of many acts of harm carried out against the victim and her siblings over a period of five years. The defendant physically and mentally abused the children in her care during this time. In reading the investigative notes from the Department of Children and Families, I was in shock at the extent of the abuse which includes hitting children with objects to the point of injury, threatening them with knives, withholding food, forcing them to use false names, and much more. Additionally, records show the defendant violated the terms of her bond and the no-contact order by communicating with the victim. The actions of the defendant were deemed so severe that the children’s father has lost parental rights for allowing this abuse to occur.

There is no outcome that will erase the scars with which these children have been left. I have been witness to the abusive and manipulative actions regarding the children. The defendant has previously shared her desire to have children of her own. She has demonstrated time and again that she should not be allowed near children and is a danger to others, including her current husband. I would implore the court to reject any plea agreement that does not provide appropriate justice and consideration for the harm caused by the defendant. This is a violent person who I believe will cause further harm and has demonstrated a disregard for no-contact orders.

Thank you for your consideration.

My girls are back home with their family, which is myself and their true dad, Jason.

We couldn’t be happier! The courts terminated the kids’ biological fathers rights involuntarily. He’s a sick son of a bitch that never fought an ounce for these kids. The girls want nothing further to do with him, and if he is brought up, he is referred to as Matthew. We don’t talk about that brown cow of a wife who abused my daughters repeatedly.

My girls are very very happy, they have their own bedrooms to express their own unique personalities. You would never guess they are a huge upheaval in their lives.

I have never seen the girls so happy. Back a couple years ago, Caitlyn was a miserable little brat that you could not discipline. She was a product of brainwashing and thankfully Ava never got that way.

Caitlyn is a totally different girl now! She’s always got a smile even when she’s caught and getting in trouble. It’s just amazing to understand what happy really is and the fact that they have happy futures in front of them with responsible parents who will show them the good in life!

I can’t wait to embark on vacations and extra-curricular activities with them to come!

I’m working on a goal to write 10 minutes per day… of course not right now because it’s 1:45a.m.   Ok, well I can write a few things I suppose.  Ava just had her 12th birthday, she’s getting to be such a big girl. We took her to Target to pick out gifts and Caitlyn got some loom you use with rubber bands. Then we  went to Viera Regional Park and had fun with arts and crafts and hung out for a while before going to Chickfilet for lunch.  I then had to say goodbye 🙁

Matt has a hearing to terminate his parental rights on Monday and Tuesday I find out more about when I get my kids back from his fucking stupid ass abuses in life.  My poor kids.  At least they now know the real life story of their father and that bitch.

I’m working on my website, my portfolio, a business website, my resume and so much more. Still crafting, working on a plate at the moment.  Things are going great with my husband Jason.  He’s just been offered a new job at Presbyterian College in South Carolina but it’s remote work, I believe he will be the Director of Enrollment Operations…. pays a lot more which is good for him.

I’m quite overwhelmed at the moment with what to do with myself. I have so much to do, I don’t even know where to start. At least I got my blog back online, that felt good.  I just need to write more often.  I post of Facebook and Instagram though, YouTube always and maybe i’ll get into this Tik Tok thing!

That’s all for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxo
